Baptism
Have You Been Baptized?
As we are born children of a fallen humanity; in the waters of Baptism we are reborn children of God and inheritors of eternal life.  By water and the Holy Spirit we are made members of the Church which is the body of Christ.  As we live with him and with his people, we grow in faith, love and obedience to the will of God.
If you have not been baptized and would like to or want more information, please contact Pastor Steve or Julia Becklund.
Bible Study Fellowship (BSF)
Please join us each Thursday from 9:15-11:00 am at Bible Study Fellowship for women.  This year the study is on the book of Romans.  There is no cost, but a freewill offering is taken at the end of every class.   For more information or to register, contact Darla at arlaclark0611@gmail.com.

Workers Needed
We need wheel barrels, shovels, rakes and people to use them when we over seed the lawn at Shepherd of the Hills on Tuesday, October 17 starting at 7:30 am. It should take about three hours if we have enough help. You are welcome to just come, but it would be helpful if you would let Lloyd Tarr know (lloyd@tarrs.com) so we have some idea of how much help we will have and how many donuts to buy.

Each morning you will receive an email which includes an opening prayer, daily Bible reading, closing prayer and digging deeper section, all accompanied by beautiful pictures and artwork what tie the reading together in a very meaningful way.

If you or someone you know would like to receive the daily devotions, please email julia@sothaz.com or call the church office.
Intercessory Prayer Group
Prayers Please join us as we pray for our church, specific people's needs, the Fountain Hills community, our country and world.

We meet each Wednesday in the Sanctuary at 1:00 pm.

PRAYER CARDS are available in the pew backs. You may place your prayer requests in the prayer boxes located on the Usher's table, in the Narthex, and outside in the prayer box on the circle drive.
Power of Prayer
Please pray for comfort and healing for those who are sick, recovering from surgery, the  lonely, suffering from addiction, mental health problems, or need love or encouragement.
Heavenly Father, please shine your light upon families. Give them strength and wisdom to overcome all of the difficulties they face each day.

Please pray for strength and safety for those persecuted Christians around the globe.  Heal the physical and emotional scars that the young and old alike suffer for the sake of Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father, we pray that Your Holy Spirit will turn the hearts of students across the country toward You.  Protect our staff and students each day.  Create an atmosphere of learning, providing the teachers wisdom and knowledge.

All praise to You, Lord Jesus, lover of children:   Bless our family, and help us to lead our children to you.  Give us light and strength, and courage when our task is difficult.  Let your Spirit fill us with love and peace, so that we may help our children to love you. All glory and praise are yours, Lord Jesus, forever and ever.  Amen.

"Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."
Hebrews 4:16
