For those experiencing homelessness\, a quality pair of shoes means mobility\, dignity\, and access to opportunities like job interviews\, medical appointments\, and daily survival. \nA collection box will be located in the church lobby—please consider purchasing a pair from an outlet store\, clearance section\, or discount retailer and dropping it off to bless someone in need this season.

DESCRIPTION:We give thanks to God for the life of our dear sister in Christ\, Joan King\, who entered her eternal rest at the age of 96. Joan was a beloved member of Shepherd of the Hills and a gifted quilter. \nHer sons\, Glen and his brothers\, will hold a graveside service in the Shepherd of the Hills Columbarium on Wednesday\, October 9\, at 12:30 PM to lay both of their parents\, Joan and her late husband Jerry\, to rest together. The service will be brief\, followed by a time of fellowship in the church hall\, where friends and family can gather to celebrate Joan’s life. \nWe invite you to join us in surrounding the King family with our prayers during this season of both loss and gratitude for Joan’s long and faithful life.
