🎁 Discover the Gifts of Advent 🎁
This year, we’re embracing a beautiful Advent journey centered around the four gifts Jesus wants us to receive and give away: Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love.
Through worship, teaching, and personal stories from our own members, we’ll slow down, savor the season, and rediscover the true meaning of Christmas.
Here’s how we’ll experience these gifts together:
Sundays (Beginning November 30) — “Unbox” Message Series
Each Sunday, Pastor Jeff will focus on one of the Red Letter Advent gifts:
Nov 30: Unbox Hope
Dec 7: Unbox Peace
Dec 14: Unbox Joy
Dec 21: Unbox Love
Christ Connect Class—Weekly Theme Study
Following worship each week, the Christ Connect Class will dive deeper into that Sunday’s theme using the Red Letter Advent study guide and video.
Wednesdays in Advent: 2:30 pm (Dec 3, 10, 17)
A brief 30-minute service of song, prayer, and a heartfelt video testimony from an SOTH member:
Dec 3 — How did God bring hope into your circumstances?
Dec 10 — Where have you seen God’s peace in your life?
Dec 17 — Where has the joy of the Lord been your strength?
Immediately following the service at about 3pm, Pastor Jeff and others will hold a Healing Prayer Service in the Shepherd’s Prayer room. If you plan to attend both services, consider parking in the lower lot and using the elevator.
Wednesday December 24 – Christmas Eve Worship at 3 pm and 5 pm.
