Let’s Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday!
On Sunday, July 5, we’ll trade our usual Christ Connect Class for a church-wide picnic celebrating the USA’s Semiquincentennial (that’s a fancy word for a 250th birthday!).
The church will provide freshly grilled hot dogs and fried chicken, and our First Sunday hosts—Diane Abfall, Donna Hawkinson, and Pat Flug—will keep the beverages flowing.
Bring your favorite side dish or dessert to share, then settle in for good food, fellowship, and some friendly games. Whether you’d rather stay cool inside the Fellowship Hall or enjoy the Arizona summer under The Abbey, there will be plenty of room to celebrate together.
Come hungry, bring a friend, and let’s give America a birthday party worthy of 250 years! 🎂
